A 77-year-old Trenton man and a 51-year-old Hamilton Township man were charged with shoplifting on March 19. The two men allegedly took merchandise valued at $588.18 from Walmart and merchandise valued at $956.07 from Home Depot. The case was assigned to a detective, who identified the men and charged them.

A 19-year-old Trenton woman was arrested on an active warrant from Atlantic County after a police officer conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of The Orchard on One Mile Road March 18. She was processed and released.

A 43-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking $500 worth of merchandise from the Jersey Smoke store on Route 33 on March 18. He was also found to have active warrants from Woodbridge, Hackettstown, Egg Harbor City and Carlstadt. He was processed and released.

A 58-year-old Trenton man was arrested on active warrants from Hamilton Township and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office after he was stopped by police for a pedestrian violation on Route 130 on March 18. He was also issued a summons for walking with traffic. He was processed and released to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.

A 49-year-old Hightstown woman was charged with shoplifting on March 18 for allegedly taking $652.71 worth of merchandise from ShopRite without paying for the items. She was charged on a complaint summons.

A 23-year-old Bound Brook man was arrested on an active warrant from Milltown after a police officer noticed his vehicle had an improperly displayed license plate on Route 130 South on March 17. He was also charged with having an unclear plate. He was processed and released after posting bail.

A 34-year-old Matawan woman was charged with driving under the influence following a motor vehicle stop on One Mile Road at 12:04 a.m. March 16. A police officer noticed her vehicle was being driven erratically. She was also charged with refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving and careless driving. She was processed and released.

A 29-year-old Jamesburg man was charged with driving under the influence after a police officer noticed his vehicle was being driven erratically on Route 33 at 1:49 a.m. March 15. He was also charged with refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to observe a stop sign and failure to maintain lane. He was processed and released.

A 39-year-old East Windsor Township man was arrested on an active warrant from Hamilton Township following a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 on March 13 after a police officer noticed a brake light was not working. He was also issued a summons for a maintenance of lamps violation. He was processed and released after posting bail.
