Hopewell: Township Committee results

Hopewell Township voters cast their votes in the Nov. 5 general election for one three-year term on the Township Committee.

As of Nov. 5, Democratic incumbent Uma Purandare has earned 5,809 votes and Republican candidate Bob Zansitis has received 3,620 votes.

There is one write-in vote cast for Fairfax Hutler and one write-in vote cast for Harvey Lester.

The Mercer County Clerk’s Office posted results on its website are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.

Vote totals as of Nov. 5 do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.
