The Watershed’s free World Water Day family event takes place at the Watershed Center in Pennington.

There will be two sessions – one from 10 a.m. to noon and a second from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

According to the Watershed Institute, the event brings together environmental advocates, educators, and community members for a fun, engaging, and informative experience.

There will be exhibits and demonstrations with a focus on water conservation, renewable energy, and eco-friendly practices.

Families will be able to learn from not just industry leaders, but innovators which include the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, PolyGone Systems and Princeton University’s High Meadows Environmental Institute Integrated Ground Water Modeling Center.

There are interactive hands-on activities and demonstrations planned in addition to community engagement opportunities with local organizations.
