An apartment in Building 4 at the Princeton Gardens apartment complex was deemed to be uninhabitable as the result of a kitchen fire that was reported on June 20. Fire departments from Montgomery Township, Rocky Hill Borough and Princeton responded to the fire and extinguished it. The Montgomery EMS also responded.

A 29-year-old Flemington resident was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Belle Mead-Griggstown Road at 9:54 p.m. June 17. The driver was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving without a license, failure to provide vehicle registration and failure to provide proof of insurance. The driver was processed and released.

A 19-year-old Belle Mead woman was charged with careless driving after she accidentally stepped on the gas pedal of her 2021 Mazda as she was pulling into a parking space at Wawa on Route 206 on June 13. The vehicle hopped the curb and struck a fence and retaining wall. She was not injured.

A 62-year-old Hillsborough Township resident was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206 at 1:11 a.m. on June 13. The driver was also charged with speeding, reckless driving and careless driving. The driver was processed and released.

Two suspects passed off a fake $20 bill at Jersey Mike’s Subs in an incident that was reported June 12. The suspects purchased a bottle of water and handed the fake bill to an employee. The bill was later determined to be counterfeit.
