A Willingboro man who allegedly opened packages and removed their contents in an apartment building vestibule on Woodstone Circle was charged with theft and hindering apprehension Oct. 28. He provided police with a false identity, but his true identity was later confirmed through fingerprints, resulting in a charge of hindering apprehension.

A Trenton woman was charged with shoplifting for allegedly concealing items in reusable bags and attempting to leave Wegmans without paying for them Oct. 19. When she was confronted in the parking lot, she allegedly resisted arrest and attempted to destroy a glass pipe with residue from a controlled dangerous substance. She was arrested after a brief struggle and also charged with obstruction and resisting arrest.

Two Whiting men were charged with shoplifting after they allegedly attempted to leave Target with a cart full of unpaid merchandise Oct. 14. When they were confronted, they fled on foot. Officers apprehended them in the parking lot. One of the men allegedly provided false identification and later admitted to using an alias due to an active warrant. He was charged with hindering apprehension, in addition to shoplifting.

A Trenton man was charged with driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations after he was stopped for erratic driving on Meadow Road at 5:58 a.m. Oct. 12. Empty alcohol containers were found in his car. He was processed and released.

A Trenton man and woman were charged with shoplifting after they allegedly scanned part of their shopping cart’s contents at the self-checkout lane at Target on Oct. 5. A loaded firearm was found in the woman’s possession and the man had an active warrant. The firearm was logged as evidence. They were processed and released.

A New Brunswick woman was charged with driving while intoxicated and other traffic offenses after she was involved in a car crash on Route 1 North at 5:04 a.m. Oct. 5. Shot containers of whiskey were found in her vehicle. She was processed and released to a family member.

A Trenton woman was charged with shoplifting Oct. 2 in connection with a Sept. 27 shoplifting incident at Target. She had concealed a vacuum cleaner and other items and left without paying.

A Bordentown man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly concealing Pokémon cards in his pocket and leaving without paying for them at Barnes & Noble on Oct. 2.
