Ruth Rule Kemman of Newburgh, Indiana, died April 21, 2025.
Born September 21, 1929 in Princeton, to the late Frederick Jeremiah and Helen Turley Rule, she grew up in Kingston.
Before marrying James Hugo Kemman in 1961 at the Princeton University Chapel, Ruth worked as head nurse for the Infirmary. Ruth and Jim lived in Silver Spring, Maryland for 18 years, moving to Newburgh in 1987.
Her brother, Marvin Eldridge Rule, and sons, Frederick Hugo (1963) and Frederick Barnes Kemman (2022), preceded her in death. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Janet L. Kirby (Richard M.) among others.
