Authorities have identified a 32-year-old Ewing man as the victim of a fatal shooting in Trenton early Sunday morning.
Jemear Miller was found with a gunshot wound to the neck after Trenton police responded at about 3:37 a.m. Aug. 2 to reports of a large disturbance and gunfire in the 300 block of East State Street, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officers found Miller in front of 319 E. State St. He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A second man arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle with a gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening, authorities said.
No arrests have been made.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting.
