Denise Hansson, 70, passed away on March 4, 2025, in Hopewell, NJ. Her friends and family are deeply saddened by her sudden passing that has left a massive hole in the community.
Denise was born on October 23, 1954 in Racine, WI, to William and Charlotte Cote. She studied film at University of Wisconsin.
Denise was a Master Gardener, landscape designer, visual artist, art curator, gourmet cook, phenomenal baker, accomplished knitter and crocheter, and loving grandmother. She will be remembered in the community as someone quick to offer aid, come by with food, and extend a witty remark. She held a patent for Marjorie’s Mix Flavored Vinegar.
Denise is survived by her husband Ulf, daughter Natasha, sons Tomas and Niklas, grandson Henrik, grandson Rory, and granddaughter Annika.
The service for Denise will be held on Saturday, at 4:30 PM at Blackwell Memorial Home.
Visitation: Saturday, at 3:00 PM at Blackwell Memorial Home.
Memorial donations can be made in Denise’s name to Earthjustice. You could also plant a tree in your local woods to honor her memory.
